In Shona, TANAKA means ‘we are good’. At Tanaka, we believe in the spirit of people coming together to create change. All our projects are community-focused and community-led. We think, talk, and work as ‘we’ not I. Every product we offer is a testament to Africa, crafted for the world.
Our Tanaka Pecans are naturally fertilised, watered, harvested and shelled by hand. 70% of the community nurturing this process are women. The oldest of our trees were planted over 60 years ago; as our trees grow, we also grow together.
